Je propose principalement des chansons racines et traditionnels de mon pays : du rara avec une instrumentation traditionnelle du pays : vaccine, bamboo, thacha, kata, boula, segon, etc., musique troubadoures haitiennes avec le banjo à trois cordes, accordéon, marimba, maracas, contrebasse, etc. par exemple “Mon Konpè” qui rend hommage au grand musicien de l’année 70s 80s Coupé Cloué, des rythmes de l’Afrique d’ouest qui rendent plutôt hommage à ma terre mère africaine avec des instruments africains comme la kora, le balafon, et la flûte peule ainsi que d’autres chansons qui célèbrent notre ère urbaine ska, Afrobeat, reggae et Hip Hop.

I mainly play traditional and roots music from Haiti, including rara (featuring traditional instruments such as the vaccine, bamboo, chacha, kata, boula, segon, etc.), troubadour music (featuring the three-string banjo, accordion, marimba, maracas, double bass, etc.), West African beats (featuring African instruments such as the kora, balafon, and the tambin) and ska, Afrobeat, reggae, and hip hop songs that celebrate our urban era. “Mon Konpè” plays tribute to the great Coupé Cloué a Haitian artist from the ’70s and ’80s.
